mondays and wednesdays
pre k Tiger Cubs (Ages 2-4)
This class is a fun way to introduce your youngest cubs to the martial arts. You will be in the class helping your child to build basic core strength and flexibility, and spending quality time that will improve your child's ability in martial arts and other physical activities. Physically spending time with your children is an impactful way to build trust with your child in a safe environment. Scheduling this time with your child is a good way to spend some of the little time you have as quality time that you made by putting it in your schedule and keeping consistent with that schedule.
Tiger Cubs (Ages 4-7)(6pm -7pm)
Blending fun with more discipline, these older Tiger Cubs are starting to mature enough to have a little bit more discipline and structure to their martial arts classes. They will learn more martial arts techniques, a useful way to alert parents and get away from strangers, and experience achieving goals by earning the next higher rank in the Tiger Cub Belt Ranks.
Tigers (ages 8+ including adults)(7:10pm-9:10pm)
Through hard work, discipline, and consistent routine, this class focuses on giving these students the skills and mentality to pass their belt tests and eventually achieve black belt level or higher as recognized by the World Tang Soo Do Association. Each rank is dismissed from this class later than the rank before. For instance, a black belt student would be in the class for the entire two hours, but a green belt student would be dismissed approximately halfway through.
adult Tigers (adults only) (9:20pm-10:20pm)
Did you know that Tang Soo Do was originally designed for adults? Adults can get the most out of a martial art because of their maturity and understanding. Adults can focus on learning the moves while getting physical exercise at the same time. Physical exercise is well known for reducing stress, health benefits, and a bonus to traditional martial arts is the respectful atmosphere and lifelong connections you can build. As an adult, it is not too late to earn a black belt starting from square one with hard work.
